This little device is so cool! I got it to hold my (20lb) Rat Terrier on car trips or, well, traveling wherever I take him. Driving has become much more pleasant. Before the advent of leash harnesses, my rat would always want to walk around my car or sit on my lap. Both distracted me. Now I don't have this problem. The seat belt simply snaps into your vehicle's existing seat belt buckle. At the other end is a small clip, like a leash. This leash harness fits any harness that has a loop at the back. I actually bought a matching harness, but more often used the harness I had before. Bonus!: After many months of use, my advice has now learned to keep it in the back seat of my car whenever we go anywhere. That's why sometimes I didn't even hook him, so he started to behave well.
