03/10/2019: A month has passed and I'm still in love with him! Maybe even more than at the beginning. I haven't had any bad experiences, no hardware or software issues. It syncs perfectly with my phone/app. GPS is great for tracking walks and runs. The heart rate monitor seems sensitive and accurate (although I don't have anything to compare). Pedometer works great. The stair/elevation tracking is a little misleading as it only tracks as you increase elevation at least 10 feet at a time, but it's probably about as good as the tech in a tiny wristwatch. I'm happy with that. I usually plug my device into a charger when I'm in the shower, but it went about 3 days without a charge and only went down to over 30 percent, which seems like great battery life to me. . (It's waterproof and I wear it while washing dishes and cleaning my fish tanks with no problem.) I love love-love notifications - it allows me to always mute my phone, which I prefer to do rather than accidentally turn my phone off wrong time. A subtle vibration and a shortened message on the Fitbit screen is all I need to see to know who's texting/calling/emailing me, and I can decide whether to even look at my phone got to. This completely changes the rules of the game. Yes, it's another device to watch out for, but I'm definitely picking up the phone LESS now than before because I already know what a notification is. Perfect. Wonderful. As for the actual Fitbit perspective, YES, I'm more active - I want to close those circles around steps and active minutes. I walked my dog and went to the gym more than ever. i drink more water I go to bed earlier. I want these stars! At the same time, I'm also careful not to let it take over my life, and sometimes a rest day is good - I didn't even walk 3,000 steps last Sunday and that was fine. I drank wine and read a whole book! Everything in moderation. :-) In general, fitness trackers are good! Use it to inspire you to achieve your goals. Buy it and your friend to have a little chat and compete! week) and I don't want to lose weight, but my job is sedentary and I wanted the memory to stay active. Something wearable was perfect for me because I've worn a watch every day for years but have never (or never) had a smartwatch. The Versa strikes me as the perfect balance between high-tech and low-tech. It's attractive, discreet (I have several fancy analog wristwatches that are much larger) and AMAZINGLY light. As my job is business/professional I have decided on an alternative metal strap which I feel adds to the beauty. The functionality of the watch suits me perfectly. I love that he doesn't try to do too much and all fitness stuff is readily available. Remembering to be active and healthy is very important when you're busy - it can really put you off just drinking water and getting up from the table. I also really like the "play” with deep breathing. I am happy to take advantage of coaching measures. I wore the watch to my hour-long HIIT class at the gym and was pleased to see that the heart rate stats reflected the intensity of the workout. Come to me! The smartphone app is attractive and the animations are cute and engaging to keep you interested in achieving your goals. I love the water storage feature and really appreciate the female health tracker. The sleep statistics are missing. My husband got Versa at the same time and we love comparing our dreams! I would caution people looking for smartwatches to keep looking. The features and interface are extremely simple. This is a trending activity tracker in a smartwatch case. Do not be fooled and have no hope. I've only been using the watch for a few days, but I'm excited to see my fitness and health trends take shape. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the same app. I will come back and update this review in the future once I have a chance to dig into the depths of what else it can help me with. :-)
