Review on Edelbrock 9906 Performer Remanufactured Carburetor by Aquarium Lanter

bought this product for a 1953 f100 that I am restoring. I've replaced everything from the tank to the carburetor to keep it clean and free of old gasoline. I turned on the carburetor and it caught fire a couple of times and then wouldn't fire again. I got gas to the carburetor but not through the carburetor. I put on my old holly that the motor came with and the truck worked perfectly. Upon further inspection of the carburetor, I noticed a sediment-like substance. Looking further I removed the top panel and the carburetor is dirty and full of old gasoline residue. I haven't driven the truck long enough for it to look like this and the gas I use I bought the same day and checked the leftovers in the can and it's clean good gas. I'm very disappointed at the moment. That's probably why this product only has a 30-day return policy. I don't even want to give the one star I gave it.
