The pump, however, other parts must not be

Although the pump looks brand new, the reservoir is not. I see remnants of the old power steering fluid. The description is misleading as I assumed all parts were brand new. Also, it only fit my 2004 Ram 2500 5.7 after I enlarged the pulley ID at the machine shop to fit the larger shaft on this pump compared to the stock pump shaft.
