Review on Bumper Protector Anti Scrape Perfect Installation by Wilbert Luoma

I was moderately pleased when I fitted this to my car 14 months ago - I had to use some glue and lots of quality double sided tape to get it to stay on our bumper but it ended up staying there put. However, I'm writing this review now because yesterday while loading my bike in the back of the car my pants hit the bumper and got caught on the outside. As you can see in the photo, all the stains turned into a tar-like liquid that is almost impossible to remove from clothing. It happened relatively suddenly over the course of about a week. We live in a sunny climate so this bumper guard gets quite a bit of sun but we keep it in a covered shed (and don't drive it much) so nothing special. And there was nothing dripping on it to cause it, so I concluded it was its natural lifespan. Attention buyers: 1 year plus is not a very long service life and now the thing has to go.
