I used one of these to connect a DirecTV receiver to a wall mounted TV where the 10ft cable was too short. After installing this 15 foot cable, I had intermittent issues with dropouts. By shaking the cable connector at one end, the image appeared and disappeared. I swapped the cable at both ends but the problem returned. I used a different brand of cable and haven't had any problems since. Also, these Fosmon cables are very small in diameter at around 4.5mm compared to other cables I have which are around 6.5mm and 7.5mm. This tells me that the internal copper wires are very thin and/or the shielding is minimal. They're probably better for 3-6ft than 15ft, especially for 4K TVs. And that's assuming the connections work! Edit: I only unpacked the cable this week, but since buying a pair in September, Revane says my "return window" has closed. So if you roll the dice and buy these cables, be sure to test them out right away, including unplugging them. I think my next step is to determine if they have a guarantee.
