Review on πŸ₯— Optimized for Search: Good Cook Classic Salad Tongs by Patrick Hamman

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Ergonomic flaws

When I finally got the pair plucked I had to go to the local supermarket and buy another pair. But since I'm a lazy person, I decided to find a pair on Revain. It seemed to me that this was the best value for what I wanted. A simple, scissor-like, plastic salad tong. Well I should have looked more closely at the picture as I would have noticed that the hinge/pivot point is closer to the pliers than the handles. This means you have to open your hand much wider than you want the tweezers to open. This makes it very inconvenient to use unless you want to take a few sips at a time on a plate. You can see from the product picture that the distance between the handles is already wider than the distance between the tongs, and the tongs are barely open to grab a piece of tomato. My proposition. Just go to your local supermarket and pick up some plastic. a set they sell in the kitchen gadgets section. They get 2 stars just because they're better than nothing.
