This is a fun and very challenging puzzle game. The guide is honest. There are good photos but I wish they had a little more info on the tricky parts. You have to be very careful not to break the pieces when you pull them out. I really wish they had added some rubber bands as I broke one while assembling. (Luckily I had a spare.) If you enjoy making Lego sets, it's similar but much more difficult. We haven't finished it yet as there are many steps. I do this with my 11 year old who is a little overwhelmed by it. Overall it is of good quality and we will have a lot of fun assembling it.
