The first thing that struck me was that the surface was rough and didn't have the matt or semi-gloss sheen of other wire cutters I've had in the past (and it is on the photo). Little white hailstones stuck in the cracks, as if they hadn't been cleaned before packing. I'm wondering if the last step of the manufacturing process was skipped. When I first started using it in my drill press it seemed like it took a lot of force to work with wood. It also screamed and banged. I sharpened the blades which seemed to help a bit but sometimes they cut well and other times they rattle like crazy I don't know why. I'm thinking about throwing it away and trying something else, but it really works, just horribly, so I'll probably use it for now.
