Some reviews mention tearing or not stretching enough but we definitely didn't think that was the case. In fact, I think my only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is that they are too stretchy and don't stay on the pillows. Firstly, putting them on the cushions is not a problem, they do not smell of anything after opening, they are soft and comfortable to sit / lie on. What more can I ask for? The color of the darker browns (chocolate) is still light for my almost black sofa, but close. Bottom line, between that and the $15 leather strap, I had my sofa repaired for $50 instead of spending $700 on a new one. What is there to complain about?
