I needed a simple storage cube for an art project and this was perfect. I'm not sure if it will be strong enough to use for everyday storage or if it will stand up to a lot of weight or handling. The bottom is a piece of cardboard and I'm guessing the sides and top are somewhat similar - they're very light and it looks like they're hollow inside or "honeycomb" made of paper. Everything is covered with smooth thin contact paper. Depending on how you line up the finished box (mine sits with a door on top, like a lid), you may be able to see holes on the sides that can be used to connect multiple cubes. The bottom is recessed, not flush like the side ones. Overall, the box seems pretty solid all things considered, and the tape and pins seem to do a good job of holding it together. I think this cube costs a little over twenty dollars and maybe a little overpriced for what you get here.
