Fancy cardboard box

DO NOT use to make storage box, you can buy real wood shelf. Don't try to convey that either. Really easy if you need a drawer or two. It is perfect for the needs, but it seems that it is scratched and ruined very easily, already scratched on top. I used it to store dog bath products next to my bathroom because I don't have room for them in the bathroom and if I used an open storage container it would look like junk. When I try to lift the box off the shelf to move it it falls apart lol.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • String is shorter than others

You need to understand what you are buying

I received this product and I am satisfied with it, both in terms of functionality and appearance and in terms of ease of assembly. I knew what I was taking, so I wasn't surprised by the light weight and material. I was satisfied enough to get a second one. It took me 5 minutes to assemble the first one; second, 2 minutes. I give it 4.5 stars because I feel like it ends up being a bit pricey. Adding up the price for both items comes out to $45 ($22.5 each with tax) and when you compare the…

Not good for furniture

If you have children or toddlers, just don't waste your money. I bought this to keep my son's toys in the living room. I like the idea that they are lightweight so they don't pose any risk to my little one. Stupid idea. He's ripped down the door more times than I can count. And they're expensive for what they are. Well, if you don't have kids and you use them very carefully and you don't mind paying more than you need, then go for it. I just can't recommend them to everyone and they most likely

Appearances are deceptive.

Never again. Well worth spending the extra $10.00 per cube for a longer lasting and larger product. It's easy to put together, but that's a subjective term; I like to collect IKEA furniture. However, the pieces fell apart a couple of times when I tried to secure the sides. Also, to provide a height measurement, no LP records are placed in the cube. In the picture of the dice with LP discs, yes, that's NOT this product. The second picture shows the difference in size for a cube that costs $10…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Very expensive

This cabinet looks super professional for the office. It is made from a stack of recycled cardboard laminated with a wood sticker. When I compare it to what you can get at IKEA for $25, it's amazing. The design of my particular device was slightly different. Either one side panel is longer than the other or the holes in the doors are drilled out a few millimeters, causing the door to tilt slightly. I pulled the top a little higher on one side so the pin didn't go all the way in. This made the…

So a somewhat mixed situation. I like the low environmental impact of the product. I don't like that it looks like wood and is NOT as strong as wood. I assemble according to the manufacturer's instructions. It looked okay, but it was very, very basic. As soon as I lifted it to move it, I tipped the box slightly and it collapsed completely. 2nd box did the same. I took them apart and put a drop of wood glue in the hole in front of each wooden dowel. I also smeared the back panel gap with a dab…

Very light, good for the home office. Furniture

I needed a simple storage cube for an art project and this was perfect. I'm not sure if it will be strong enough to use for everyday storage or if it will stand up to a lot of weight or handling. The bottom is a piece of cardboard and I'm guessing the sides and top are somewhat similar - they're very light and it looks like they're hollow inside or "honeycomb" made of paper. Everything is covered with smooth thin contact paper. Depending on how you line up the finished box (mine sits with a…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • High price

A cheap alternative to a floating bedside table! Nice DIY project!

My wife is a keen handyman so she was fascinated by these things. First of all, if you don't want to increase the strength of the box, I wouldn't recommend it. We checked the reviews before purchasing and also looked at IKEA so we understood exactly what we were getting. She used nails in the corners after assembly (she added 2 extra nails below in the middle) and used contact putty with tape during assembly (she also applied it to the wood dowel holes), which was superfluous. for the nails…
