After doing some research on ubiquiti's unified solutions and testing cheaper access points, I was blown away by their performance, using a low-end consumer N chipset with just the addition of an AC radio . The enterprise/professional solutions felt overpriced, and while I might prefer stability, features, and performance support, I was let down by my use cases. The problem is that Apple routers brought stability. a decent but basic feature set and consumer-level (i.e. much higher) performance. The UAP AC HD is the first access point I've found that offers both the performance (using the latest AC Wave2 class chipset) and stability of Apple access points. Competing other enterprise solutions are much more expensive. The glory of ubiquity that finally offers performance. I've attached some test results at 5GHz AC showing the maximum speed on my network with different routers/APs.
