We are very happy with this collar. We tried other (cheaper) ones when our dog's trainer recommended this one, but they were inconsistent in terms of stimulation and level of stimulation and our dog was unaffected. Now with Dogtra she always gets stimulation when we press the button and now we have to use her less because her behavior has improved and her memory is 100% working even if she is not wearing a collar or is turned off. The purpose of this collar is to teach the dog to respond to commands consistently. I also love the little handheld remotes I can use to pet my dog and they both know that's where the shock comes from.
