Review on USA-Made Zipper Rescue Repair Kits – The Original Zipper Repair Kit Since 1993 (Moto) by Carl Higdem

The zipper on my coat has been giving me problems for years, not closing smoothly or coming off. It's been really bad lately. I did a little research and found that you can replace the foil so I decided to give it a try. I measured the width of the zipper teeth and couldn't tell if I needed a size 5 or 7, but this set had both. The hardest part was removing the top zip, when the instructions say to pull hard they mean it. Then remove the old film and put on the new film. Next put on the new stop. The zipper works great, even better than when the coat was brand new. Much easier than removing and replacing the entire zip which would require a lot of work. Highly recommended! Very easy repair, I would have ordered this kit a long time ago!
