This purchase was made for my wife who has very curly hair. And here's her review: I have mixed curly hair, so detangling my hair in the shower is a top priority. I used to use wide-toothed combs that were good at detangling my hair, but detangling those tangles also takes a lot of WORK! When my sister suggested I buy such a brush, I agreed. The first few days I used the brush it was a miracle. I've been sold! The ease in detangling my hair was remarkable and the time they shaved combing through my tangles was significant. HOWEVER, brush quality is not permanent. The bristles are weak, thin and wobbly, so much so that when combing the hair they began to sag. I can pull them out every time, but I find that's something you don't have to do with a brush. I'm looking for a better quality brush that does the same amazing detangling job, but the bristles don't sag after each use!
