I vacuumed the carpet with my old vacuum the day before this vacuum arrived just to see how much the new one would pick up. The Eureka vacuum picked up so much pet hair, dust, and carpet powder residue. (I stopped using carpet powder for a few months and it actually picked up all the residue my old vacuum didn't have!) I had no idea how awful my old vacuum was until I started using this one. I love how it comes with multiple items to use on the furniture, carpet, etc. I'm 5ft 4cm and it hasn't hurt my back or put any strain on my body. It is very light and very easy to clean. I definitely recommend it!
