WILL NOT WORK out of the box in the US or CANADA. Must buy an aftermarket adapter!
The hard drive is great, plenty of space, but the power supply has two adapters, one for India and one for Europe. All users in North America need to purchase an AC adapter after sale. They are not expensive ($10-15$) but you will need them to use them. I chatted with Segate online and all they told me were product specs that I already had. A good half hour was spent on this. In any case, the drive is good, useless without an adapter when used in North America.
