Background: My son is in 4th grade - he is skinny and a bit tall compared to other kids. He was 30th percentile weight for many years. now a little better. He eats like a teenager but is naturally slim. I originally bought a 10/12 because my son is barely too big for size 8 jeans from other brands etc. I have bought many other shirts/pants etc in the same order all size 10/12. Winter overalls were the only item that did NOT fit. My little one is shaped like a green bean, but apparently he needs broomstick-sized feet to carry him. Even try on. he had to sit down and put it on like panty hose. I have from 12.10. to 16.14. Winter trousers are still WAY too small. The waist and legs are clearly not suitable for a child's ballerina. I don't know how they made such a mistake with the pattern on the winter overalls. Maybe some kind of conversion from inches to millimeters during production? Anyway, the jacket is beautiful and the kit was only $70 so we just kept it. I'll just eat up the cost of the pants and buy him some black winter pants from someone else. Too bad because these winter pants are too tight to fit anyone else so I can't even gift them.
