My son has been asking for skates for months but has not been able to pull the trigger because his foot size changes every 3 weeks. I finally found this pair and had everything he and I wanted: - royal blue color - all wheels light up, not very noticeable during the day but bright at night. - a skate that grows with you. I think it could last him at least a couple of years. - Fitted skates: they have a buckle at the top and a velcro strap underneath so that the skates fit snugly. The wheels and instructions actually told me to spin the wheels to balance the skate. No extra wheels are supplied in case one of them runs out of batteries, but I think any standard wheel will fit on this skate. Generally so far so good.
