It is a very durable collar. He is very thick and hard. To sit properly it sits a bit high on the neck of my dobe and I thought it might bother him but it never seemed to bother him. He's a very excited guy (now about to be neutered) and having something with a pen is a lifesaver. This collar alone works almost as well as a harness. The hardware is great and we get loads of compliments. I think my only contribution would be that the velcro is under the handle. The edges and corners of the velcro can be quite sharp and there is a strap to attach the handle, but when I use the handle the edges scratch the back of my hand. All in all, this is the best collar we've ever had. and the name patch we added looks amazing.
