This product is a perfect match for my 2006 Accord V6 6 speed. With the new grip I ordered it fit well but left the threads exposed, that's where it happens. Installation was easy. The thread fit is a little sloppy, but it tightens up when it's all together. If you have an Accord, there is NO need to cut through the trunk or pry the factory latch. Simply remove the rubber mount and then detach the boot itself from the plastic mount. It may stick a little, but it will come off and you can then reinstall it if you like. After that I folded the screw to fit this holder nicely and attached some zip ties as the rubber holder is too small for this part. The end result is beautiful with a great finish and I am very happy! For negative feedback please ensure you order the correct size for your vehicle as other listings are available with other sizes. I made sure my thread is 10x1.5 before ordering it, but other cars may be different.
