I go through a few every 4-6 months. These are pretty good everyday shoes, but I mainly buy them for skating. They last longer than any other shoe and hold my laces together better than any other shoe. The entire sock is made from a single piece of suede, so there are very few seams to unravel from flip flips. They have suede lace tubes that protect the laces. The soles have great traction and I love this material, it's very soft and shock absorbing. Just apply a little superglue to all the threads in the seams around the area you would normally rip open for a taste and they'll last a lot longer! I've been skateboarding for 30 years now and have had horrible shoes (canvas chucks etc) so trust me when I say these shoes are great skateboarding shoes!
