Review on BLACK DECKER CBG110S Push Button Stainless by Bryan Ramirez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Buyer Warning! Although it is cheap, the price is still too high!

This is the first time ignoring reviews is serious Oh! Nothing is simple about this coffee grinder which ALSO claims to be versatile and can be used as a spice grinder. In my opinion, it hardly misses false advertising. If I ground the coffee beans myself, that would go in the trash. I wouldn't want anyone to buy this as (?) open stock and I certainly wouldn't give it away as a gift. I like my friends. First off, the "safety feature,” aka lockdown, is the weight of your hand on top. Yes, for fun and laughs, I pressed the power button - without the weight of my hand on it - to see if it would turn on. Yes, that's right. No security feature other than disconnecting from the network. And yes, the lid was closed. And yes, unless used by a responsible person, all devices must be out of range or unplugged when not in use. It takes a whopping 5-7 minutes to grind anything harder than shredded red pepper flakes, even if it's less. The ONLY REASON I won't be returning it is because it's only used occasionally. When the time comes when I really need to use a spice grinder on a regular basis or I'm busy grinding my own coffee beans, I'll spend the money on a reasonably good grinder and throw it away. The cleaning is a joke. Is it possible to remove the blade, I did not understand. Therefore, it must be cleaned with the blade installed. And it needs to be wiped off. I think you need to leave it on for a day or two for the oil to dissolve and then wipe it off again before using. Next time I need to grind spices, I'll throw that thing away and buy quality. If I ever start grinding coffee myself I will throw this thing away and buy a quality product.

Pros
  • Coffee grinders
Cons
  • Trouble is coming
