It's unlike most other phone mounts on the market - it looks like a spider and folds around your phone. However, this quality does not seem to be very useful for all phones or all cars. My larger Nexus 6 fitted perfectly in the mount but not in the air vent on my 2013 Ford Fusion. It sagged a bit and was difficult to position consistently. When you're done driving and want to return your phone, you'll have to abandon all placement efforts. I don't use this in my car due to the issues described above. While the fancy design may or may not work for a car mount, it can make a good stand when using your phone to watch videos on a desk or desk.
