The blue handle on the jug is a separate part of the main jug so it pops out under the weight when the full jug is lifted. If this happens when the lid is open and you try to hold on to the handle to pour the contents into the container, the entire jug will fall to the ground and the contents will fly all over the place making a huge mess. If you remove the handle, there are no problems. Packaging issues aside, these are extremely effective products for removing excess moisture from the air. Helps eliminate musty odors often associated with humid environments with poor circulation. Would buy again.
