They come with a low wattage bulb which would probably only be suitable for running lights, but I also need blinkers. I had to replace the sockets to use standard 1157 dual filament bulbs (Socket #85803 for $2.99 each at Auto-Zone). This necessitated the use of a dremel to cut the existing single rosette directly into the bottom of the "bowl" and the double rosette fitted perfectly. Really simple modification.
