This LCD 1602 was bad
I had a project and I couldn't tell if I uploaded my code or not because the LCD didn't finish uploading. I created an I2C address checker. I had the correct wiring with the correct address 0x27 but nothing showed up just a solid 16 blocks on the first line and got stuck there. If I didn't have another 1602 I would have thought it would be my Arduino or the wiring I've checked so many times. I don't like failed DOA products.
