Not impressed - String Lights

I have a panel in a place that gets a lot of sun and they barely stay on for an hour. Maybe the panel needs to be in dessert conditions to really get a charge? The panel is now unshaded and located in South Texas. It is quite warm here almost all year round. I wouldn't buy this again. In fact, I had to move these lights to another part of my house and buy lights that plug into an outlet to light up an important area.
