These mop pads serve their purpose perfectly. I've used them for both dry and wet cleaning and would say they work equally well for both. When dry, they are soft enough not to leave scratches, but still retain a good ability to collect dust. They're strong enough wet to really sand down those hard-to-reach areas, and they're great at absorbing moisture. And although they absorb moisture well, this does not mean that it becomes inaccessible. I like to use as little moisture as possible in my laminate floors, because moisture is their deadly enemy. Even a little left on your floors can cause warping. With that in mind, I end up using a lot less moisture than usual because after these pads have soaked it up, they still allow me to use the semi-wet pad extensively without applying additional cleaning products. This is both a significant cost saving and a way to ensure I use as little liquid as possible. These pads also wash a lot better than the Rubbermaid and Bona pads I've used in the past, both of which get stiff after washing. to the point of incompetence. These remain relatively soft without further manipulation, so I find them much easier to reuse. Mind you, I said relatively. They still feel stiffer than new ones, but they're definitely flexible enough to be reused. Person like in the pictures.
