Excellent protection for floors and more
I bought these to keep my heavy Wilton Armetale serving utensils from sliding off the shelf in my dining room. These little cushions support my serving attire, and I've also taped them to the undersides of chairs and edge tables that don't rest on carpet (we have dark mahogany floors and I don't want them scratched to death). They do their job and don't let furniture stand as high as some felt cushions. There was more than enough in the package to keep my serving utensils in place and on the furniture's legs. The sticky stuff could probably be a bit tackier, but I put some glue on the pad that I was having trouble with and it worked.
