Review on Boys' Hooded Guard Shirt for Swimming by PIQIDIG - Boys' Clothing by Roberto Manzer

Great sun protection but seams go to

I loved this sun protection shirt for my six year old who loves spending hours in our pool. I especially like the hood, so that your neck and ears are protected. He wears this with a life jacket over it for safety and it was awesome. Its bright blue color makes it easy to spot from afar. After 3 weeks of wearing, the stitching along the entire underside had torn and started to unravel. The stitching on his right arm that opened at the arm also began to unravel. I tied and knotted them both as best I could to prevent unraveling. We'll see if it's still a few weeks before we close the pool, then this shirt will probably end up in the trash in 6 weeks. It's a good idea to leave the sleeves in place, the sleeves are too short for that. My son says it's too tight and he can't bend his arms freely. He's skinny and a bit short for his age on the pediatrician's growth chart, so I don't think it's because he has orangutan arms. Although who knows? Maybe next year I'll have to plant it in the forest so it can swing in the trees. The sleeves are too short for that. My son says it's too tight and he can't bend his arms freely.
