I bought this little DVD player because I travel a lot and want to watch DVDs. Now that I have a kindling fire, I don't use it as much when traveling, but at home instead. I don't have a DVD player so I hooked up this little gem to my TV and voila! I can watch DVDs on a big screen without buying a separate DVD player. This baby is compact but with a good picture and sound.
