These combs are great value and work great. I use them on my pets and have had all kinds of fur coats from double haired huskies, my jack russell, short haired beagle, great dane, I even use them on cats! All animals merge into a puddle when combing, and between the two sides of the comb you get all the hair that falls out. My husky eventually got old enough to go to the groomer so I made it at home and while I thought I was doing a good job before using them, I quickly realized how many of his other brushes were being left behind. They worked so well on his woolly legs that it took me 20-30 minutes per leg to get rid of all the excess hair! Definitely worth getting for any pet!
