Works as advertised except for a faulty cable which took time to diagnose. But after some use with a known good cable it worked as it should, very smoothly and nothing out of the ordinary. Update 1: The KVM switch continues to work perfectly, only a few cable changes were required with updated DisplayPort to HDMI converters. 2 of my 3 computers support full 4K resolution, the last one is waiting for the 2 new converters and will hopefully get the maximum resolution when they are installed. Update 2: In the process of installing this KVM switch permanently. I suddenly had problems with a PC on one of the dual displays. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to recognize the computer. After many replacements, known good cables and displayport adapters. It all came down to a bad 9ft HDMI/USB cable that I bought specifically for my KVM project. This is the second defective cable. I'm reviewing this cable here because people use cable reviews to review a KVM switch. So after all there are 2 displays 4 PCs CKL KVM. 5 stars and excellent when using cables with no defects. Shifts stable and fast with good cables. Update 3: wonderful KVM, works reliably and flawlessly. But there's one thing I found. The USB power supply was marginal and occasionally caused problems. The solution is to replace the one supplied with one that can supply at least 2 amps of current. More power - more power. If you connect additional devices to the KVM's USB port, they will require more power than the included USB power adapter can supply. The one supplied with the KVM provides just enough power for the KVM itself.
