I'll give my review of the lights in a moment. But first you know this. If you order these lights, THE SELLER WILL OFFER YOU A $20 AMAZON GIFT CARD IF YOU GIVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING. Kind of shocking. So I would be very wary of many of these positive reviews. However, these are decent solar garlands. They are plastic but look very nice. They are also easy to install. We recently used them in the fall, so we only really tried them on cloudy days in the Pacific Northwest. On a typical cloudy fall day, the light only stays on for a few hours before it gets too dark to be useful. In the few sunny days we had, they stayed much longer. They're nice, but not super bright. But then again, we didn't try until the fall. I think in the summer when the days are longer and the sun is brighter they should be left on to provide extra light outside on summer evenings. They're not perfect, but they're good for situations when you don't have electricity outside but need extra light.
