Review on 🚿 Enhance Control with Delta Faucet RP17446 Single Handle Button for Bath, Tub, and Shower by Marco Carpenter

Received four of these today. I took a chance, especially after reading the comments, and ended up with a silver/chrome version of the knobs, which is exactly what I wanted. The description is wrong but the specs clearly state that the part number is RP17446 and not RP17446PB. If you want a polished brass version, you'll probably need to look elsewhere than Revain; At the time of writing this review I could not find the part number RP17446PB on the website. As for the detail itself, this is exactly what I needed and what I wanted. Water ingress between the metal insert and the front plastic. I found a partial solution by applying a clear silicone sealant to the back of the button, applying liberally to seal all the metal and plastic edges and completely covering the metal medallion. By doing this I have increased the life of the button from months to a few years especially when used in a shower/bath grip. Sink faucet handles can last longer.
