Really great product for occasional repairs before it became a permanent problem. Ford used the plastic ends of a stock cable connecting the liftgate latch to the release mechanism. Over time, a fitting fell off the "head” and an attempt to open the back door sometimes worked while others didn't. Replacing the ends instead of buying a new cable is a lot cheaper, and those ends are metal and will never need to be replaced again. Don't worry that the OEM cable has a white end and a black end - it doesn't matter which way the cable is installed. There is a great video on YouTube on how to do this job, but the price was more than 2 times that of Revain. The most difficult work was removing the old cable ends. After that, these ends glided perfectly. The quality and fit of these pieces are excellent, as is the price and delivery.
