OK except for the missing collar

These were for my husband who likes very light shoes and wants to try the barefoot style. I bought him a few pairs to try. In general, they all tend to be a little big, so he needs to go half a size to a 10 instead of the usual 11. Normally he is 44 EU, but in this case he is 43 EU (10 US). The fit was good except he found it very difficult to put on. The tongueless style means the foot has to go through a collar-like opening to slide into the shoe. If the shoes then need to be tightened, you can use laces. Unlike other running shoes in this style, this Weweya Barefoot Shoes Men's Minimalist Running Cross Training Shoe has no stretch in the collar. To put them on easily, you need a shoehorn! He felt it would be too difficult to put on and take off, so he probably wouldn't wear them (he only wears shoes when he goes out). For those who want snug fitting shoes and don't want to take them off in a hurry, this could be the perfect option. In fact, my husband noticed that this design corrected an issue he had with another pair where he felt the heel could slip off too easily. The shoes looked good and looked well made. I particularly liked the profile, which looked good and grippy. However, we are returning them as they are impractical for my husband due to the tight collar. He is very picky about shoes!
