This thing is amazing! You can burn down your building (or burn yourself out) if you're not careful, but I only bought it to fill small areas where there were bodies of water. Watch YouTube videos on firefighting techniques and always have a fire extinguisher handy. I bought some cheap $1 metal grill tongs from the store to hold/position things while the burner heats the small (3ft by 2ft) pieces. It's as good as anything my roofers use. I found a metal rod with a hooked end to help unroll the roofing while the torch heats it up. It has a spark to light it up, 2 gas flow controls and a prop to hold your head up when you put it down (the head gets very hot and can burn you or your roof if touched). Well designed and works well.
