I was unable to receive FOX 2 (VHF channel 7) from Detroit (about 25 miles) with the UHF antenna. I decided to try this $20 solution. Very easy to install, I attached it to the same pole that my UHF antenna was attached to on my roof. Pay attention to connections, UHF UHF antenna, VHF/UHF output goes to your TV. Note: I used a signal booster. My first rescan picked up FOX 2, but some previous strong UHF stations stopped working. I removed the signal booster and all channels are captured with a strong signal. I believe the signal booster overdid some UHF stations. So I believe this VHF kit boosted my UHF stations as well. Some stations were unstable until I put the amp back in and turned it on. Maybe the power cycle fixed the original problem I was having.
