Review on πŸŽ₯ Acer QHD Webcam: Crystal Clear Video with Omnidirectional Noise-Reducing Microphone by Mike Walters

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There's a lot to like here. There is only one brand.

I have used several different cameras, from well-known brands to unnamed (mainland) Chinese manufacturers. I was offered this brand by Acer and decided that I would try the camera based on the brand name (Acer is the brand I previously bought) as well as the specs of the camera. !), plus some instructions 2. Setup? : The camera is strictly "plug and play", which means exactly that. There is no driver (and I confirmed that by looking at the Acer website). The camera will be recognized by whatever program you use, and that's it. This camera has an interesting but secure way of sitting on top of the monitor that uses a flexible (flexible) piece that can be bent into any shape and position you want for the monitor. It seems a bit useless at first, but after you place it, it really sits in pl. Ace is pretty good. I would also like to mention that the camera has a fairly long cable (USB) which is not detachable but is over 6ft long which is amazing!3. Usage?: The generated image is pretty good. In fact, this might be one of the best I've seen without needing a lot of extra lighting, which is to be expected considering it's a 2k camera. The microphone's audio is adequate but not great, although it works well for most purposes. The clean-cropped image is a little wide-angled, so you know, and there's no way to change that (although you'll soon be able to change the image with software, so it's not a big deal these days). I LOVE the lens cap. I think that's what every camera needs considering the security issues we have these days. While something permanently attached would be better, this works really well (it absolutely does). I also appreciate that this product appears to be made in Taiwan and not mainland China, as I am concerned about the minimal risk of installing firmware. The price of the camera is what I would expect from this type of product (not the cheapest but given the production it might be worth it). Overall?: This is a really good camera. The price means that it depends more on the place of production, the brand as well as the quality of the production. I also like the sleek look of the camera, which is important since you're viewing it from above the monitor. Really cool. I'm rating it almost perfect at the moment with almost 5 stars.

Pros
  • Adjustable webcam: place it on a table or hang it on a monitor | USB connection: Simple plug and play device with 98" USB cable
