Review on X-ACTO Commercial Grade 24x24 Square Guillotine Trimmer by Barbara Simmons

Use it in my vinyl shop to cut vinyl graphics. Works perfectly. Sharp blade. Definitely a time saver when you do a lot of repetitive work. The only downside to this knife compared to one of our previous cutters is that it doesn't have a spring-loaded hinge. Our previous cutter's hinge had a spring that raised the handle when released. Since this has no spring, the blade will fall off when you let go of it. It can be dangerous, but once you get used to it, it doesn't matter. When you lift the blade all the way up it actually holds some resistance that keeps it in place. But generally good quality for a cutter of this type.
