Ideal for new computers without USB-A ports
I got this for my new Mac mini because it lacks the USB A ports to use the keyboard, mouse and USB stick as it only has 2. The USB-C pass-through is an added bonus because you don't even lose the port that way. And since it's USB-C, USB-A ports appear to be USB 3.0 standard based on file transfer speeds, so that's great too! For the price, you'll be hard pressed to find anything that does the same thing.
