We tried returning it but the Revain seller doesn't accept returns. $10 down the drain. As a second try, we ended up buying a wired ZD-V+ USB game controller. I should have tried #1 as the ZD-V controller worked right out of the box. plugged in, there are no drivers, all his steam games worked as they should and now he is happy. Lesson learned.
