I was looking for a plant-based protein powder that would give me 15g or more of protein per serving at an affordable price. I used to buy Vega Sport powder but it was too expensive. Vega Sport and Sunwarrior Classic Plus cost about the same, but the scoop in the Vega jar was twice as much and there were fewer servings in the jar. I need a protein powder to use in my post workout shakes and sometimes in place of meals. Bought chocolate flavor. The directions on the container say to add one scoop for every 10 ounces of plant-based milk, but I used 12 ounces instead. I know from experience that powders mixed with milk or water will calcify if they are not mixed with enough liquid. Especially plant-based because plants = earth, so the taste can be earthy haha. So I tried 12 oz and it was still too chalky. It left an unpleasant aftertaste associated with bad breath. Actually, it was my friend who tried the 16oz shake and he was right! The powder was really able to mix with the liquid and emulsify the chunks. Sometimes I'll add peanut butter powder and extra milk to a smoothie on the day I haven't eaten enough protein. I love the mix of peanut butter and chocolate flavors. This powder is great. I gave it 4 stars solely because of the mixing instructions of using 10 ounces of water or non-dairy milk. Through trial and error, I found what works best for me.
