YOU rust! NOT REAL BRASS!
I bought these bushings for use at sea - a DIY kayak sail. I was specifically looking for brass bushings that I knew would not rust in salt water. The product name said "Stainless Brass Metal Grommets" so I ordered these. A few months after completing the sail I was dismayed to see rust on the grommets after a few outings. Then I took the magnet and saw that it was attracted to the magnet. This shouldn't have happened if it was real brass. This product is misleading so BEWARE!
