Yes it's really an improvement
When I first received the new packaging and brush I was convinced I didn't like them. (I tend to resist change!). However, I decided to give it a try and took out my brush and actually looked at it under a magnifying glass. When I saw how the bristles are arranged on the brush, I realized that this actually improved the brush's functionality and helped me achieve the look I wanted. Now I wouldn't want it any other way.
