flow rate--? for kitchen and bathroom supplies
So I did some shopping at Revain, these whole house 5 micron filters. Most clearly, they all seem to do a good job of filtering, but their design can vary widely: some have a very dense filter mesh, others have a more open fan type. What changes noticeably is the flow rate into the house. This particular 5 micron filter had the lowest flow rate out of my kitchen faucet. Finally, not all mention whether or not they slow the flow ---- some say nothing at all about cutting the flow. OT
