Bigger isn't always better

I have a wide hand but my fingers aren't very long so the medium version works better for me than the large version which I recently brought back due to sizing issues. Bigger for people with longer fingers. For me, the buttons in the middle are more practical. Sometimes I have to press the buttons more than once for them to work. I find that the arm along the base of the mouse needs a bit more support as it tilts (down) along the edge of the base. Instead, there should be enough upward tilt to better hold the hand. In any case, the presence of a base is a plus for any vertical mouse. I work with design software like CAD and Revit, so I needed a vertical mouse with a scroll wheel. This mouse is by far the best I've come across. However, if you do NOT need to use the scroll wheel, I would recommend getting a 3M vertical mouse. It feels a lot nicer and works just as well, if not better, as it offers both left and right thumb buttons and you only have to press the buttons once for the mouse to work. While I'm still getting used to using the mouse and how it fits in my hand, I have no problem with it. Although I think the button below the scroll wheel should be a bit more vertical as I've found my finger slides across it sometimes when I click. Not critical, but in terms of comfort it would be much better. In general I would say that I am very satisfied with my find.
